Our goal is to bring quality and competitive cavies to the western show circuits and to our customers. We currently breed and show Americans (in TSW & white) and Texels (in broken & TSW). With a heavy heart, we would like to let everyone know that this past Friday KLC’s Ch. Montgomery passed away do to the advanced stages of liver disease. After spending the week under intense veterinary care, it was learned that he had irreversible renal damage (due to unknown causes) and passed away peacefully early Friday morning. Montgomery turned out to be a true ambassador for KLC Guinea Pigs...recognized by everyone at shows, including most of the judges. He not only surpassed my expectations in his show career, earning 22 legs and 7 BOSB in all, but was our family’s favorite pig. He had a big heart and a wonderful personality. His legacy will live on through his sons and daughters, but we will never be able to replace him. And to honor him and his spirit we will not be removing him from our boars page. He was truly one of a kind and will be dearly missed by all of us.
